About Andrae.

Andraé Goodnight is a graduate of the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas where he concentrated in visual arts and theater. He received his Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2005 and an MFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy in 2022.

 

In 2009, he was elected to the Chattanooga City Council, becoming the youngest person ever to hold a local office in Chattanooga. He has also held the post of Adjunct Faculty for Bryan College and was the first full-time African American talk show radio host of the daily show “Live and Local” which aired on WGOW 102.3FM, with a daily listening audience of over 250,000. 

 

He was named the 3M Advertising National Drug-Free Art Award winner in 2003, has received the National Association of Social Workers Public Official Award in 2009, was named in Chatter’s Magazine’s “20 Under 40” List in 2010, and Honorable Mention for “Best Director” in the 55hour Film Festival in 2016.
